Dozens of vote centers open Saturday throughout San Diego County for people to cast their ballots in person.

The centers opening this weekend give voters another way to cast their ballots in the Nov. 3 election, in addition to the options of mailing it, dropping it in an official drop box or voting at county election headquarters.

A select group of 41 vote centers will be open daily starting Saturday, including the existing one at San Diego County Registrar of Voters offices in Kearny Mesa.

The rest of the county’s more than 200 vote centers will open on Halloween and remain open through Election Day. A list of locations and when they’ll be open can be found on the registrar’s website at sdvote.com.

Anyone registered in the county can cast their ballot at any location countywide.

Vote centers are open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 2. On Election Day, they will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Ballots began landing in mailboxes across the county earlier this month.

Once voters have completed them, they can put them in the mail — ballots must be postmarked by Election Day — or deposit them in a drop box or in person at a vote center.
