Two died in Monday crash at Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport.
The truck tipped over shortly after 5:50 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Encinitas Boulevard, the CHP said.
The crash was reported just before 8 a.m. Monday on the southbound freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
About 30 San Diego Fire and Rescue personnel responded Monday evening and the airport was closed for the emergency response effort.
Saturday night collision put cyclist in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Daniel Patrick Murphy, 50, was found unresponsive at 7:06 p.m. Saturday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
High tides were anticipated through Thursday, Sept. 10. Officials say delays could occur if a high tide reaches 6 feet or higher.
