Ted Giannoulas awaits a court hearing April 15, 1980, over a contempt-of-court allegation filed by his former employer, radio station KGB. The station said Giannoulas’ costume violated a court order, alleging his outfit was too similar to a previous KGB Chicken costume. The court sided with Giannoulas. The two women in the photo were potential jurors in another case. The San Diego History Center is hosting Giannoulas on Sept. 10 for a program from 6 to 7:30 p.m. General admission is $35.
