Forecasters say seasonal weather will return this weekend throughout Southern California.

Hurricane Marie could cause minor coastal flooding in northern San Diego County this weekend and possibly generate scattered showers.

The forecast indicates that the system, which will be called Marie, will travel west. But there’s also a chance it could turn toward San Diego County

Forecasters say temperatures will climb into the 95 to 106 degree range across inland valleys and foothills, and in local deserts.

Coastal San Diego County will experience “dangerously hot conditions” this week when temperatures are expected to reach about 85 along the shoreline and 93 a couple of miles inland.
