A man was arrested on suspicion of a robbery Thursday afternoon in Spring Valley after a vehicle pursuit.

Law enforcement had been actively looking for the suspect when deputies observed him driving in Spring Valley near Grand Avenue and Piedmont Street. They began a traffic stop, but he did not yield and proceeded to drive through several stop signs and on the wrong side of the road, said the Friday news release.
The suspect and his companion fled from their car at the end of the pursuit near Ivanhoe Street and Omega Street, and deputies set a perimeter as a helicopter arrived, according to the release. The pair were located and taken into custody, with no injuries reported.

The original suspect, Bradley Queen, was taken to San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of robbery and other criminal violations. Michelle Winters was taken to Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility on suspicion of illegal narcotic possession related charges.
