Hours: People can visit the campuses to adopt from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. All animals available for adoption can be seen at sdhumane.org/adopt/available-pets.
Adoption fee: $50 through July 26 as part of BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters program ($50 adoption fees for adult dogs & cats 7 months and older and $5 adoption fees for small pets; includes microchip with lifetime registration, vet exam. After July 26, the fee is $165.
