Noel Frischknecht, 60, is a suspect in an October assault in the Midway District near the intersection of Midway Drive and Wing Street that led to the death of Brian Salatino, 68, said the San Diego Police Department. He was arrested last Saturday in an isolated stretch of desert in Arizona near the Nevada and Utah borders.

Salatino remained in a coma for roughly 100 days before he died, police said.

Frischknecht was found in a trailer and was arrested by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. The sheriff’s office produced a dramatic video of the capture on its Facebook page, complete with rock music, drone footage of the trailer, body camera footage and Frischknecht taken into custody without resisting arrest.
