Azucena Gonzalez Martinez died at a hospital three weeks after she was found suffering from traumatic injuries caused by a deadly weapon at a home on Brighton Avenue near Adrian Street on Aug. 11, sheriff Lt. Juan Marquez said.

He then fled the scene and his ex-girlfriend was taken to a hospital, where she died.
