The mile-long closure of the eastbound and westbound lanes will occur off Exit 6 on Interstate 805 Monday through Thursday from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to Caltrans. The closure is from Nacion Avenue to Halecrest Drive, Caltrans said on X.

The work is part of a $33 million project to improve transportation infrastructure in South County, including bridge safety improvements, sound walls, and auxiliary lanes along a four-mile segment of I-805 from East Palomar Street in Chula Vista to state Route 54 in National City.
