A motorcyclist died after a collision in City Heights early Friday afternoon, San Diego police said.

The crash, between a motorcycle and a vehicle, happened shortly before 1 p.m. on El Cajon Boulevard and 56th Street, Officer Jose Perales said.
The motorcyclist died at a hospital shortly after the crash, he said.
No further information was immediately available.
