Three people severely injured when a sedan crashed into a market on Poway Road Sunday afternoon are in stable condition, according to a statement from the Poway sheriff’s office released early Monday morning.

All three were shopping at the North Park Produce location just west of Poway Road about 4:30 p.m. when a silver BMW i4 crashed through the front of the building.
Investigators towed the vehicle for further examination. According to the sheriff’s department, the driver, who remained at the scene, is not suspected of driving under the influence.
