Victims of fatal San Diego County traffic crashes ID’d

Four people who were fatally injured over the last 10 days in San Diego County traffic crashes were identified Monday by the county Medical Examiner’s Office.

The most recent of the crashes occurred in Mira Mesa shortly before 4 a.m. Saturday, the Medical Examiner’s Office reported.

Samir Cesko, 60, was walking across Camino Ruiz mid-block near Reagan Road when a southbound 2008 Honda Accord struck him, according to the county agency and San Diego police. Cesko died at the scene.

About 9 a.m. Thursday, a vehicle hit Ryan Radabaugh, 53, of Oceanside in a parking lot on South Main Avenue near Fallbrook Street in Fallbrook, the medical examiner reported. Paramedics took Radabaugh to Palomar Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

A day earlier, a 98-year-old woman was fatally struck by an SUV on a street near San Diego State University. Eleanor Mitrovich of San Diego was walking on Cleo Street near Gary Street around 8 a.m. Wednesday when a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox SUV hit her, according to police and the medical examiner.

She died at Scripps Mercy Hospital.

On July 17, a 43-year-old motorist died in a predawn solo car crash on Interstate 5 near Aliso Creek Rest Area near Camp Pendleton, the medical examiner reported.

Teclo Salazar of San Ysidro was heading south when the wreck occurred about 4 a.m., according to the county agency. Salazar died at the scene.
