A 53-year-old woman from Vista died last week after losing control of her car and flipping multiple times in Warner Springs, the California Highway Patrol said.

Kristina Lee Rozzo was in a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt, going north on state Route 79, south of Linton Road, at an unknown speed Thursday around 10 p.m., officials said. She lost control for unknown reasons, driving out of a right-hand curve to slide sideways into a dirt shoulder, officials said.

Rozzo was not wearing a seatbelt as the car flipped multiple times, leading her to be partly ejected from the driver’s side window, according to CHP. She died at the scene.
