With the county fair in full swing, From the Archives goes back to this photo of Raquel Tejada, the 1958 Fairest of the Fair, during the Toyland Parade in North Park on Dec. 7 of that year. MissTejada went on to worldwide fame as Raquel Welch. The Fairest of the Fair was a staple of the county fair from 1936 to when the contest was discontinued in 2004.
