A 28-year-old man was killed in his Southcrest home Wednesday night following an argument with one or more acquaintances, San Diego police said Thursday.

A shooting was reported at the home on Gamma Street near 39th Street about 11 p.m., police said. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died. His name was not released.
Police did not release information about suspects or if any arrests had been made.

“Detectives are currently processing the crime scene, interviewing witnesses, and canvassing for security video,” homicide Lt. Lou Maggi said in a news release.
